WORRY, FEARS, TROUBLE, DEPRESSION.
THERE IS HOPE.

He is God, and He loves you.

Jesus said He was God. He proved it by His life, His words, His deeds, and His love. “But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)” (Ephesians 2:4–5). “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).

He died and rose again to pay for your sins.

Our sin separates us from God and requires the payment of death (Romans 3:32, 6:23). Yet, because Jesus died for you, you don’t have to pay for your own sins! “Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day…” (1 Corinthians 15:3–4). “But God commends His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8).

He desires to come into your life and save you.

Here’s how Jesus said it: “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life…” (John 3:36). “He that believeth on me hath everlasting life” (John 6:47). “I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live” (John 11:25).
Going to Heaven isn’t about being good or religious. It’s about trusting Christ alone. Call out to Him, ask Him to come into your life, save you from sin, and give you His gift of eternal life. It’s the best decision you will ever make. “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Romans 10:13).

Salvation Prayer – Merely a Tool to Communicate Our Faith

The Salvation Prayer is not a ritual based on specific words. This is not the power of a prayer, but the power of truly committing our lives to Christ as Savior and Lord. The following is merely a guideline for our sincere step of faith:

“God, I recognize that I have not lived my life for You up until now. I have been living for myself and that is wrong. I need You in my life; I want You in my life. I acknowledge the completed work of Your Son Jesus Christ in giving His life for me on the cross at Calvary, and I long to receive the forgiveness you have made freely available to me through this sacrifice. Come into my life now, Lord. Take up residence in my heart and be my king, my Lord, and my Savior. From this day forward, I will no longer be controlled by sin, or the desire to please myself, but I will follow You all the days of my life. Those days are in Your hands. I ask this in Jesus’ precious and holy name. Amen.”

If you decided to repent of your sins and receive Christ today, welcome to God’s family. Now, as a way to grow closer to Him, the Bible tells us to follow up on our commitment.
  • Get baptized as commanded by Christ.
  • Tell someone else about your new faith in Christ.
  • Spend time with God each day. It does not have to be a long period of time. Just develop the daily habit of praying to Him and reading His Word. Ask God to increase your faith and your understanding of the Bible.
  • Find a local church where you can worship God.  If you are in the vicinity of Logos Christian Family Church we would love to help you grow in your faith!
  • Seek fellowship with other followers of Jesus. Develop a group of believing friends to answer your questions and support you.
