Hebrews 10:25 “not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some,
but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.
Logos Christian Family Church is a multi-cultural church comprised of families, children, youth, young adults and individuals who have the passion to care and serve the people by leading and guiding them to be devoted disciples of Christ. We have lively worship during Sunday service, a strong emphasis on the preaching of His Word, and desire in having the Holy Spirit being free to move in the services. We are a church that is fueled by prayer, and our hearts’ cry is for God to pour out His Spirit and heal our land..
Pastors Dino and Nadya Andreadis are new to Logos as of January 2016 and are zealous to see God do a great new work at Logos as they know that the Lord directed them there.
Pastor Harald Boettcher (Logos’ founding father) and his wife Carolyn have pastored Logos Christian Family Church for 37 years until 2015, and their son Pastor Jeff Boettcher, pastored alongside them as youth pastor, then lead pastor in the latter years.  We are thankful to them for all the years of incredible service and labour of love which they poured into the church making it the incredible church it is today.
Logos was born in response to a step of faith and obedience to God when Pastor Harald Boettcher felt the call of God in the summer of 1978 for another church in Mississauga. On October 15, 1978 with 8 adults and 6 children, Logos held it’s first public service at Gulleden Public School. In 1980, a big step of faith was taken for this small congregation as they bought 1.3 acres of property immediately behind the school where services were being held.  Pastor Boettcher submitted a simple and functional design to an architect and then submitted plans to the city of Mississauga. There were spiritual battles to be fought, but God saw the church through. On September 25, 1983 Logos moved into it’s present day building on Dixie Road.
Through diligent and faithful work, the church grew extensively with it’s very strong bus ministry and outreaches in the community.  Phase 2 to add more space to the existing church began in 1988.  By 1990, the sanctuary was extended, additional Sunday School rooms were added, with chapels upstairs and downstairs.  New ministries kept springing up as the church grew, and in 1994 the property adjacent to the north was purchased and phase 3 was born. In the spring of 1998 another addition was to add a 4360 sq. ft. gymnasium with change rooms, additional office space, washrooms and foyer.
We are thankful for all that was done to make this beautiful building, but in reality the real church were the pastors, leaders and countless devoted congregants who poured their lives graciously and tirelessly into Logos over the years with thousands of hours of service to see the church flourish. Logos has been greatly blessed with a spirit of unity over the years, and we are grateful for all those who have made Logos Christian Family Church what is today.
Joshua 3:5 says, “Then Joshua said to the people, “Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the LORD will do wonders among you.” We as God’s people believe that as we continue to seek the Lord for Logos and the surrounding community, that God will add to the church as such as should be saved, and that Logos will continue to be a lighthouse in our Mississauga community.
